During the days of December 7th-9th, the Build-A-Bear Workshop in the Spokane Valley Mall will be taking donations for the Toys for Tots drive during its store hours. You can drop off new, unwrapped toys at the store, or purchase a toy from Build-A-Bear to donate. Build-A-Bear is located in the Spokane Valley Mall, 14700 E. Indiana Avenue, Spokane.
Meals on Wheels Spokane is reopening with a fundraising event, themed “It’s a Wonderful Life.” The fundraiser will be held on December 11th from 4-7 pm at Meals on Wheels Spokane, 1222 W. Second Avenue. Food and more will be available at the event. For more information visit mowspokane.org.
Inland NW Baby and Cancer Patient Care are hosting a Little Feet Holiday Tree fundraiser to support their operations. The events will include making memory gifts for families which are made by volunteers and are available for purchase ($10 or $20). Fundraisers will be held on the following dates in December: 15th-16th and 19th-23rd. Located at River Park Square, 808 W. Main Avenue, Spokane.
Volunteers are needed for Spokane’s First Night New Year’s Eve celebration on Dec. 31st. Tasks include helping with set up, running the parade, checking for attendee button passes, and assisting with late night event take down. Apply online at firstnightspokane.org.
