On Friday, February 8 at 6 pm, HREI will celebrate the Grand Opening of its new exhibit. A unique partnership with the Coeur d’Alene Tribe, the exhibit – “Schitsu’umsh Country – focuses on the heritage, contemporary life, and bright future of the Coeur d’Alene Tribe and American Indian peoples. Another exciting exhibit, “African Journeys,” explores the heritage and customs of West Africa. An opening ceremony will include a prayer, ribbon cutting, tour of the exhibits, and a special performance by the “Shooting Star Dancers.” Snacks and refreshments will be on-hand. All are welcome.
