Join the Human Rights Education Institute and the ACLU of Idaho on Wednesday, April 17, 2013 at 7pm for a free screening at the institute of the Sundance award-winning documentary “Gideon’s Army,” which premieres on HBO later this year. The film follows three young public defender in the Deep South, challenging assumptions within a strained criminal justice system. Kootenai County Chief Public Defender John Adams and retired Judge James R. Michaud will take part in a question-and-answer session after the screening. Gideon’s Army will be shown at the Human Rights Education Institute located at 414 W. Mullan Rd., Coeur d’Alene, ID.
